Join the Board

The Food Bank is seeking candidates to become public members of designated committees of the Board of Directors.  We are particularly interested in candidates who either work, reside and/or have substantial community involvement in Solano County.  If selected following the interview process, you will participate in the work of your assigned committee.  Your participation will offer you and the Food Bank an opportunity to work together.  If there is mutual interest in the future, you may be considered for election to the Board.

Our Board members and public committee members are a passionate group of volunteers who care about serving our neighbors in need and advocating for a hunger-free tomorrow.  The role of a public committee member is to help provide oversight, assistance, and ensure that the Food Bank continues to fulfill its mission in a manner consistent with the organization’s values.

We encourage you to apply.  If you are interested in becoming a public member of a Board committee, please complete this questionnaire and send your resume to Heidi Nolen at hnolen@foodbankccs.org.

If you have a question, but don’t know who to ask? Contact us at 855-309-FOOD (3663) or info@foodbankccs.org and we’ll put you in touch with the staff member best suited to answer your inquiry.
