From building and leading global teams to guiding companies through complex change, Mark has earned his reputation as a respected Human Resource leader who delivers the growth, talent and operations strategies to achieve business goals. He is currently the executive leader of Human Resources for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Prior to that, Mark was Chief People Officer and Chief of Staff at Metromile, SVP of Human Resources at Salesforce.org and VP of Human Resources at Cardno. Throughout his career, Mark has partnered with enterprise executives to develop and execute transformational programs that support ambitious growth and enable the company to attract, develop, engage and retain top diverse talent. Mark earned a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and an MBA from Golden Gate University. In addition to the Food Bank, Mark volunteers his time to the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Contra Costa County, Lafayette Partners in Education and CISV Bay Area.
