What to Expect After Applying for CalFresh

Expect a phone call or mail from the county within 14 days about your interview. Make sure you can accept voicemail messages.
If you miss your interview or have not received any contact in 14 days, call the county phone number listed below.
Your caseworker may also provide you with a list of additional documents that you will need to submit within 30 days from today to verify your eligibility.
If approved, you will have a semi-annual report (SAR-7) sent to you in six months and a recertification one year after you apply. If something in your household changes, you should report it within 10 days of when the change takes place.
