Food from the Bar

The legal community is gearing up for the 31st annual Food From the Bar hunger-fighting competition, and we need your help! To help meet the increased need for food in our community, we are dedicating an entire month, from July 11 to August 12, to FFTB fundraising.

Friends, the Food Bank is currently serving nearly as many people as it did during the peak of the pandemic. More than 270,000 people per month in our community now need help making ends meet.

Please join us in this friendly competition by creating a team (for your firm, company, or organization) and encouraging those around you to donate. All donations made under your team’s name will count toward your team’s goal!

With every $1 raised, the Food Bank can provide TWO healthy meals, so each donation makes a big impact! Over the past 30 years, Food From the Bar has raised enough money to provide more than 2.8 million meals to feed our community! We can’t wait to see how many lives we can impact this year, so create your FFTB team today!

For everyone’s safety, the committee has decided to postpone Comedy Night and move forward with hosting a Virtual Food Drive.

With our humble gratitude, thank you for supporting the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano.
