Mark Edwards is a Program Management Professional and dedicated nonprofit advocate with a passion for hunger relief and community resilience. He serves as an Advocacy Partner with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, where he champions initiatives that address food insecurity and promote equitable access to nutrition. Mark’s commitment to helping others was shaped early in life through his experiences working alongside migrant families on farms in Indiana, where he witnessed the challenges of food and economic insecurity firsthand. He brings deep expertise in program development, cross-sector collaboration, and stakeholder engagement, drawing from his experience as a PMO executive leading large-scale, mission-driven projects. Mark holds a degree in Industrial Technology from Purdue University and certifications including a PMP from the Project Management Institute, and Generative AI and Fundraising & Development from UC Davis. Guided by empathy and a belief in food as a basic human right, he works to uplift underserved communities through sustainable change.
