Liz Avalos is a dedicated advocate with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, inspired by her own lived experience of food insecurity. Raised by a single mother and now a single mom herself, Liz is passionate about giving back and ensuring dignity for neighbors in need. She supports older adults through her work with Front Porch, volunteers with the Food Bank, serves on Kaiser’s NICU Parent and Family Advisory Council, and is a catechist at her parish. Her commitment is rooted in gratitude and a desire to uplift others.
