Melissa is the EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer for CSAA Insurance Group and leads the company’s HR efforts including corporate culture; talent management; leadership development; compensation; benefits; charitable programs; diversity, equity and inclusion; and employee communications. She is part of a leadership team that cultivates innovation in a customer-driven organization focused on serving AAA members during life’s uncertainties. Under her leadership, the company has achieved a perfect score in the Human Rights Campaign’s corporate equality index for LGBTQ workplace equality. She co-founded the company’s Women’s Professional Network, created to empower women to take risks, use their voices, and make an impact. She is also the executive sponsor of the Black Employees Association. In recognition of her many contributions, Melissa has received the Industry Leader Award from the Professional BusinessWomen of California. She received a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from California Polytechnic State University and her MBA from Brandman University.
