Jenny is a College Health Nurse at Saint Mary’s College of California where she loves supporting students as they learn to navigate healthcare independently. Prior to working at Saint Mary’s, she worked at Stanford’s Children’s Hospital. Jenny is a dedicated community health and anti-hunger advocate. She is a FBCCS Speaker Series graduate who speaks to State and Federal elected officials to advance anti-hunger legislation that bolsters food security for college students. As a food bank Community Advocacy Partner, Jenny was a panelist at Feeding America’s National Anti-Hunger Policy Conference, and she initiated food insecurity screening in Saint Mary’s Wellness Division. Jenny believes that food is medicine, and she asserts that if college students have access to healthy food, they can reach their potential. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys spending time with her family and golden retrievers and playing pickleball.
