Great Big Oatmeal Cookie (Galletas Grandes de Avena y Especias)

Ingredients:
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 ripe banana, mashed
• 1/3 cup water
• 1/3 cup milk
• 1 tbsp vanilla extract
• 1 tbsp apple sauce
• 5 ozs prunes (minced or pureed)
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 tsps baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
• 3 cups quick-cooking oats (uncooked)
• 1 cup raisins
• cooking spray

Directions:
Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl, stirring well with a wire whisk. Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; add to sugar mixture, stirring just until blended. Stir in oats and raisins.

For each cookie, pack dough into a 1/4-cup measure. Drop dough, 3 inches apart, onto cookie sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 16 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool on cookie sheets 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheets, and let cool completely on wire racks. (Cookies will be soft.) Store in an airtight container.


Ingredientes:
• 1 taza de azúcar, color café
• 1 plátano bien maduro, machacado
• 1/3 taza de agua
• 1/3 taza de leche
• 1 cucharada de extracto de vainilla
• 1 cucharada de puré de manzana
• 5 onzas de ciruelas secas (cortadas)
• 2 tazas de harina
• 2 cucharaditas de bicarbonato de soda
• 1/2 cucharaditas de sal
• 1 cucharada de la mezcla de especias “pumpkin pie”
• 3 tazas de avena (sin cocinar)
• 1 taza de pasas
• Aceite (spray)

Direcciones:
Combine los primeros 7 ingredientes en un tazón grande, mezclándolo bien. Combine la harina y los próximos 3 ingredientes; agregue la pasta de azúcar, mezclándolo para combinarlo bien. Agregue la avena y las pasas.

Para cada galleta, mida ¼ taza de la masa. Ponga cada galleta separadas por 3 pulgadas en una barra para hornear, aceitada. Hornee en 350° F para 16 a 18 minutos o hasta que estén doradas. Déjelas enfriar por un minuto. Quite las galletas y póngalas en un plato para dejarlas enfriar completamente. (Las galletas van a estar suavecitas.) Manténgalas en un recipiente.
