Souper Bowl of Caring

Date/Time: 01/30/2017-02/05/2017, All Day

Event Info

Help tackle hunger!  The Souper Bowl of Caring is a national movement of youth working to fight hunger in their own communities. During the week leading up to the Super Bowl on February 5th, churches, schools and other organizations simply take up a collection (many use a soup pot) asking for one dollar or for a nonperishable food item for people in need. One-hundred percent of donations are given to their charity of choice.

To participate, register at www.souperbowl.org.  Choose the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano as your charity and help us score a victory in the fight against hunger! For more information, call Kimberly at (925) 676-7543 x 252.

Since the Souper Bowl of Caring began in 1990, more than $125 million has gone to help people in need through soup kitchens, food banks and other charities in the communities across the country.
