Growing up in Honduras gave Julia a firsthand view of poverty and hunger. This experience drove Julia to embark on a new journey in the nonprofit sector and become an advocate for hunger relief — leaving her decade-long career in hospitality sales and marketing to help those in need.

Julia is passionate about serving the community where she lives and works, as she strongly believes food is a human right. When she is not fighting hunger, you will find her at home cooking and gardening with her partner and two dogs.
