Jason is a minister who graduated from our 2022 Speaker Series. Jason serves the Ministerial Association, a rural nonprofit serving Colusa County through churches, providing food distributions, pantries, clothing closets and housing assistance. Jason is a leader and voice at the table for the county’s vulnerable.

“I knew I needed [to join] the Food Bank’s Speaker Series when I saw how vital it was to my work’s success: To balance my passion for those I serve with strong advocacy on their behalf. After the series, I learned that additional opportunities to serve and advocate enriched my own professional background and served and even benefitted our organization.

Our nonprofit, the Ministerial Association, is a rural nonprofit serving our entire county through our churches, providing food distributions, pantries, clothing closets and housing assistance. We are thankful for the advancement for the opportunities that this program has opened for us. It has allowed our small group to have a voice at the tables of those that never realized how much need there was for our county’s vulnerable.”
