During Hunger Action Month we speak in one voice with food banks across the nation to make sure all of our neighbors, like Sarah and her kids, have enough to eat.
Sarah is a single mother working 45-50 hours between two jobs and her paychecks don’t always last the month. Without the Food Bank, she wouldn’t always be able to feed her family.
“I was out of money…there was going to be a six-day span (before her next paycheck) when we were going to have no food whatsoever.”
