Help tackle hunger! The Souper Bowl of Caring is a national movement of youth working to fight hunger in their own communities. During the week leading up to the Super Bowl on February 7th, churches, schools and other organizations simply take up a collection (many use a soup pot) asking for one dollar or for a nonperishable food item for people in need. One-hundred percent of donations are given to their charity of choice. In 2015, more than $8 million was raised by over 6500 groups nationwide. Participation couldn’t be any easier; register at www.souperbowl.org. Choose the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano as your charity and help us score a victory in the fight against hunger!
