Renee grew up in Rockland County, New York. She went to college in NYC in the School of Visual Arts. Renee moved to San Francisco on February 12, 1992. Having lost interest in a career in the visual arts she, with the encouragement of one fine photographer Eric Slomonson decided to go back to school for broadcasting at City College of San Francisco (thank you CCSF!). From that point I was off and running, interned at the alternative station in SF (aka Renee Rotten), and eventually was offered the super-duper killer gig to work with Dave Morey and the KFOG Morning Show.
