The Swinging Blue Stars of the USS Hornet is a group of ladies who specialize in performing songs from the 40's and 50's. Formerly known as The Swinging Blue Star Moms, the common bond of the members is that they have sons, daughters or other family members that are currently serving or are veterans of the U.S. Military. Some of them have "kids" that served recently in Afghanistan and/or Iraq. Their singing has not only helped them to support each other, but has provided a joyous outlet that takes our older Vets and Seniors down "memory lane" once more.
