Celebrate Hercules July 4th Food Drive

Jul 4, 2014 - 07:00 AM

1515 Refugio Valley Rd
Hercules

biStitchual and Thirty-One Gifts will collaborate in supporting the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano!

-Mother and daughter partners, Maggie & Alena, have realized a dream that was long in the making when they opened the doors to their very own fine yarns and notions shop, biStitchual, located in Old Towne Pinole. biStitchual is a community of creative people who enjoy sharing ideas and expanding their skills.

Giving back to the community is important to them which is why they decided to do a Food Drive for the Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano. Join their fight against hunger by dropping off non-perishable food and earn a chance to spin the Wheel of Fiber for a chance to win fun prizes. Visit them  at the Celebrate Hercules 4th of July expo event from 7am to 2pm located at Refugio Valley Park in Hercules.

-Thirty-One Gifts is a national direct sales company that designs fun, functional and beautiful bags, totes, purses and home organizers. Part of their company’s mission is to give back to the community assisting women, girls and families.

As a consultant for the company, Ann Nowak will be participating in the Celebrate Hercules 4th of July Expo from 7am to 2pm located at Refugio Valley Park in Hercules.  Ann will be donating $5.00 from each purchase of The Essential Tote – a perfect go-to for the market. Through her efforts, she hopes to raise funds that will provide meals to many.
